The folks over on the Drawing Board have given me some helpful pointers so hopefully it'll help with the likeness a bit more.......

Just for the record, this is how I actually wanted it to look. I kind of cheated by doing this but for the benefit of the purists out there, I'll be re-drawing it from scratch to get it right.

Here's another update, As you can see, I've gone against my better judgement and decided to stick with the original shaped face.

Lookin good man. Great likeness. And for the record, I think you're hansone man, despite how bad we tear your face up.
The first one is better I think. His jaw/chin is pretty big you know.
As I said before I like your technique, it's very... simple, honest, don't know how to describe it.
All done in Photoshop?
What brush?
Muy buenos trabajos!!!
Sean, what can I say? It would be wrong for me to disagree with you there!! ;)
Thanks Marion. I've taken your advice and gone with the first attempt. Thanks for the comments too. I really do appreciate it. It's all done in Photoshop. To be honest, I always use the normal brush. The only adjustments I make are to the brush size and opacity settings. I really do need to get more familiar with the more technical side of Photoshop.
Thanks Andres! My Argentinian isn't that great so I can only assume that was a positive comment!! :) I've been looking through your blog and it's wonderful!!!
