HOLIDAY SKETCHES

I've just returned from an amazing two week holiday in glorious Croatia. We spent the first week on the Island of Korcula which incuded a day trip to Mljet which is said to be ranked among the top 10 most beautiful islands in the world. The second week was spent in the cultural capital, Dubrovnik.
If you've not been, you're missing out big time. It's simply beautiful.
Anyway, I decided to take my sketchbook with me and churned out a few pages of observational sketches from the beach, hotel lobbies, cafes, bars, you name it. The most difficult part was trying not to get caught in mid-sketch!

These are really good Ken - very 'Seileresque' if that's a word - sounds like a great holiday.
Nice work mate.

Thanks Marion! Just checked out your holiday sketches and they're wonderful! Real nice!
Like you, I wouldn't normally take the sketch book with me on holiday but I was glad that I did in the end!
